Panasonic AS802B: The best IPS LED TV (Smart & 3D)

The Panasonic AS802B is the top of the range for 2014/2015 FullHD LED TV. This is the highest Full HD TV range that can be found in 2015, has a right SmartTV system and one of the best 3D systems, but not the best. This TV has the typical image of IPS panels, with good brightness and viewing angle, but rather poor in contrast, especially for a TV of this price, even if it is corrected with Local Dimming technology. The compatibility of the TV and Smart TV are good.

Conclusion (verdict):

Our review of the Panasonic AS802B is not too positive. In general we believe that the higher-end TVs must be VA, because the IPS is weaker in comparison. This model fixes the contrast with local dimming technology, but the price of this model is too high to be a recommended TV for a little more money you can find the model AX802 4K. Panasonic has improved its SmartTV system, although it lacks some content. Our review of the Panasonic 3D AS802B is very good quality and a passive system. It is not recommended for gamers because it has high inputlag.
